Hi Everybody.. Well as you read this my computer is in the shop!! Uggg. It has been shutting down on me for no reason and when I got to restart it I have got the BLUE screen.... So fortunately I have been able to save all my files but am with out a computer for a few days... Isn't it weird that when something goes wrong with your computer and it starts acting up you feel as though you have lost your purse!! What did I do 10 years ago when I could not afford a computer lol... Anyway I have made a little project that I am entering in a few challenge that I have listed below. I plan to fill this wonder gift template called Shutt-erfly by MTME with chocolates and give it to somebody special during the Holiday Season. The advantage of being a paper crafter is I can give delightful gifts like this for cheap!!! lol... Well that's it for me and next time I post hopefully I will have my computer back!! I would like to start off saying.. Unfortunally I did not think this up, and to top it off I can't for the life of me remember where I  seen it. I have looked threw my computer and surfed a bit and cannot find it. So if this was your wonderful idea please tell me and I will give you credit ASAP... I am using this project for two challenges. The first challenge is JUGS color challenge. Colors needed are Lt. blue, Lt green, Lt Brown and Yellow. Second Challenge is C4C you need to have a Spring theme. So here is my take. I used flowers from CTMH april stamp set to make my outside DP, the border along the outside on front and the inside is done with my new sewing machine :)... I have used distreesed technique. Embossed my big tulips, and I think that is about it. Thanks for joining me today... Monique

I have combined 2challenges...Pals Paper Arts and C4C. Pals Paper arts is a color challenge using the colors Garden green, Certainly celery, & Kraft. I have used all three colors. Certainly celery is used but I only used the ink to make my DP :).. And the second challenge at C4C was to create a Masculine card. Wow this is a color that I don't use very often BLUE.. I do prefer dark blue rather than light. I am not sure why this is cuz I am happy every time I look outside and the sky is a nice clear blue..Anyway !! Over at Crazy for Challenges the challenge is to paper pierce. This is such a simple technique that really adds alot.!! I have used a paper piercing template . I pierced on white and then put on Dark blue to make it stand out. Well I am very excited to announce that I have been invited to be on the Design Team of Totally Stampalicious. I Accepted with honor :). I have just started blogging in June of 2009, and often thought I would like to be on a Design Team .:) and here I am .. So with further a-do this is my first Post being on the Team!! Tuesday already..Wow we had such a beautiful weekend. Yesterday was a holiday and we spent it outside. The snow was melting we had a bomb fire it was just beautiful. This week Crazy 4 Challenges wanted us to make a easel card. I have never made one of these ither..boy am I ever challenging myself this week lol...I have seen cards that are just done in two colors with one of the colors being ither black or white. I did my card in red and white. I love these two colors together. So much they were my wedding colors. Well we finally got our Blusterous day ....I have been waiting for what seems like forever. Usually I hope there is no wind and the beautiful yellow , orange and bit of green leaves stay on the trees forever. BUT this year was different. It seems like it took them forever to change and then to fall off the trees...We would clean up the grass and it would stay clean for days ..yes usally in the fall the leaves fall everyday . We even had 3 inches of snow ....rained all day at one point and yes the leaves are still on the trees. In my opion fall was ruined.., the pretty orange leaves are now all dry and shriveld and still on the trees!!!!!! but the day finally came Saturday windy windy windy..and all at once they are on the ground ...hehe  yup all of them..and now Halloween with look as it usually does..(like winter ) lol..anyway Here is my card that I made for Crazy 4 Challenges this week.

Wow it seems like forever since I last blogged...The truth is my whole house with the exception of my husband have been sick for 2 weeks. trying to juggle around a house with everybody sick in it takes a lot of energy :)..So the truth is I have been online but  looking at what everybody else has been doing.... I have had not a minute to do anything of my own :(..The good news is the house is on the mend and this means more time crafting :)..I have made my list of Christmas projects to be done and have started on them. For today I have played along with the ladies over at Crazy for Challenges #7. Here is my take on the sketch. I know it is fall but really seems like winter where I live...Feels and looks weird snow on the ground  cold outside but still yellow and green leaves on the trees., and where some of the snow is melted green grass poking threw..lol..anyway I just love this little bird she is so cute :)...Thanks for stopping by...Monique

Here is my take on today's Crazy for Challenges #2..The picture really does not do it any justice...The card as a whole sparkles alot  more .
