Happy New Year and So Fortunate MTME Release

Wow Happy New Year Everybody I  hope You all had a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. I love Christmas and everything that goes along with it but I also love the Fresh routine of a  New Year!! And in my routine of getting creative and inky, it seems like forever !! What a better way to get back into the things with MTME release project!! Lets get started!!

This month at MTME the theme is So Fortunate!!
When I saw this template and stamps that went along with it I knew right away what I wanted to do. I love Chinese lanterns so I decided to make a luminary. The flower is heat embossed with gold. I stamped the symbols on velum and pasted on the crimped velum I have used as the window. If I were to redo this project I think I would just stamp the image directly on the velum and then crimp but this look fine to. I have a battery operated candle on the inside. I have only made one but you could re-size this template smaller and make several of them and hang on Bakers Twine..

On My card I have used MTME digital paper Well Woven and Flutters and Flowers. I followed along with the same theme of heat embossed gold. I have stamped my sentiment on vellum :)... Here are some more details.

So Fortunate Template
3 3/4 inches wide
3 3/4 inches Deep
4 1/4 inches Tall (Without the Handle)
So fortunate Stamp Set
Set 24 images and is also avalabie in digital download
Whats my fortune cookie Pretty Pieces cut file.

Well that is it for me today. I will be back on Jan 4th with another great way to use this Fabbi template and stamp set. Don't forget about the MTME gallery for a ton of inspiration . Well that is it for me but make sure to visit the rest of the team for great ideas :)..Monique

MTME Wonderfully Wrapped

Hi guys just a little something I would like to share with you. December is a busy month for everybody so Lauren from MTME is not having a release this month but has a cute little template that she adding to the rest of the fabbi templates on MTME called Wonderfully Wrapped. I had so much fun with this template I made 2 :) Lets get to the deets!!

Ack !!! I hate to TooT my own whistle but I just love this set. It is intended for a pre-teen gift. Filling the template with gum, nail polish, face masks all those fun thing that pre-teens like. I made a matching purse gift card holder.:)
Lets start with The Wonderfully Wrapped Template. I cut it out in purple and then used MTME digital paper Confetti Star and Confetti Circles. My little tag was made with the Purse-onality cut file and stamped with Secret Santa and Dashing Threw the snow stamp sets. The ornament that I have added looks like a sore thumb in the picture but looks really cute in person. It was simple to make for the tutorial on that click HERE

The Tag with Purse-onality :)

Here is the Gift card Holder. I used the Purse-onality cut file again. Layer with Confetti Stars Digital paper. Wrapped it up with a little twine topped with a button and star and that is the perfect pre-teen Christmas gift :).

For my second gift set I went with more traditional colors. This for me is a CAS look. I used Pretty Poinsettia digital paper to layer. The single poinsettia is cut using the Perfect poinsettia cut file using Timeless Tradition digital paper. The stamps sets used are Dashing Threw the snow and Secret Santa sets.
The Template

My card.
And those are my samples. This is a really fun template with endless ideas and so easy make.  That is it for me but make sure to check out all the MTME girls blogs for more inspiration :) And don't forget about the MTME DT Gallery for many great ideas ...Monique
