Hi Everybody, Wow I can't believe its Friday, the days and weeks just seem to fly by.. Today is a beautiful autumn day with golden orange and yellow leaves surrounding my acreage.. The river is high because we have had so much rain but it is the most relaxing thing the hear. The birds chirping with the sound of the water gracefully flowing down the river... Oh my I think I am putting myself to sleep..lol.. On to my card. I am entering this card in 2 challenges the first one is over at LOTV.. the challenge is to use nontraditional Christmas colors. I would like to thank  LOTV . My name was chosen last week and I won a gift certificate for Lily of the Vally. I am so excited !! I need more of these adorable stamps!!The second Challenge I will be entering is over at Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Taylor has some incrediable sketches!! I would like to start off saying.. Unfortunally I did not think this up, and to top it off I can't for the life of me remember where I  seen it. I have looked threw my computer and surfed a bit and cannot find it. So if this was your wonderful idea please tell me and I will give you credit ASAP... I am using this project for two challenges. The first challenge is JUGS color challenge. Colors needed are Lt. blue, Lt green, Lt Brown and Yellow. Second Challenge is C4C you need to have a Spring theme. So here is my take. I used flowers from CTMH april stamp set to make my outside DP, the border along the outside on front and the inside is done with my new sewing machine :)... I have used distreesed technique. Embossed my big tulips, and I think that is about it. Thanks for joining me today... Monique

I am not sure why but I was thinking about my favorite old products that I used to use as a teenager..Close up toothpaste.Revelon Flex shampoo...Tame hairspray and my most favorite perfume Cachet.. my favorite movie was Grease and Little Darlings with Tatum O'Neal, Kristy Mcnichol and Matt Dillion I thought he was such a HUNK!!  lol What are some of your old favs? .. Paper Sundaes

Well I did it...I went on You tube and learned how to thread my sewing machine. My husband bought me my machine in 1993 lol.. I went to a class when I first got it..and that is as far as it went ..I always admire all the stiching on everybody's projects and yes faux stiching is ok...but...the real thing is so nice. So look at me go tee hee...This is my first card with stiching. The challenge at Paper Sundaes was to make a Valintine card. Here is my take on the Challenge..Thanks for stopping by...Monique

Mojo Monday

Vicki over at Summertyme studio got me thinking on old programs the other day!!..You know I remember saturday morning cartoons were such a treat. We did not have family channel or any of these 100's of channels they have now..My fondest memory was after having Sunday dinner I would rush to the Tv so I could watch The Wonderful World of Disney!! Do you remember that..I hope my kids have some sort of memory like that but we have so much now...Anyway on to my card. Just Us Girls

I hope you all had a great weekend...I know I did..It was beautiful outside..I got my house clean...spent some time with my family and even had time to be creative. Believe it or not the is the first time I have done a color Challenge and I really enjoyed it no guessing lol just use the colors how easy is that...I just love this guy that I have used he is the cutest I could just eat him up lol...
