For the Birds

Hi Everybody!! Are you having as much fun as I am with this months release? Today is release day so everything that you have seen is available to purchase at the MTME Store. Today is a group post call For the birds. We are all making a Gift set of four cards.
I have chose to use the template called Slip Cover. My lid is cut out using Wildflowers Paper. I decorated the front using Singing Silhouette Stamp set.

Here is a view with the cover off. This template is so spacious. I fit in 4 envelopes and four cards and each card has a double bow on it. Lots of room :)

For the card set I have used the same theme but used different colors and 2 different images. I took the big cage out of the Caged cut file, copied, paste and welded them together to create my card. The papers I have used all coordinate. Tea Parlor Acorn Squash Ganache, Tea Parlor Fortune Teller's Fallen Leaf, and Tea Parlor Nomad's Warm Apple Cider. Now the pretty cut file that I have stamped my images on come in 4 shapes, Oval is the one I have used. There is also Square, Circle and rectangle . They are so pretty..LOVE them!!!
The New Stamp set called Keep Strong is designed to be inspirational for those going threw a difficult time. . There are a total of 11 sentiments. The ones I have chosen match my sentiments in the front of the card. 2 cards are for cheering you up, one is for a birthday and the last for a housewarming. The flourishes are from the stamp set Fanciful Flourishes.  And last I made matching envelopes using Singing Silhouette Stamp Set. That's it for me . Need more inspiration check out MTME Gallery . Hope you have fun with the Group Post today :).

MTME Sneak Peek For Your New Nest

Hi Everybody..I first would like to Welcome Kathryn to MTME she is our Guest Designer this month.  Well your in for a real treat this,. Lauren has done it again. This months release includes 2 templates, 2 stamp sets, cut files and papers to match that are unbelievably creative.  Lets get started...
Have you ever wanted to make a bird cage out of paper... Well now is your chance. Here is my gift set.

Let's start with the bird cage... I was tickled pink when I started to put this together thinking of the endless things I could do with it, put in it, and give it away to. I have made mine into a night light. This template is called Caged. The flowers and branch were cut out using Branched out cut file.

I tried to get a picture of the night light and bird, but it really does not do it justice... As you can see I embossed the flowers and added a brad to finish them off.
A little Birdie cut file comes with this bird and 3 others. I have stamped her belly with the new stamp set called Singing Silhouette
The matching card was so fun to make. I took Fluttering By paper and used Singing Silhouette stamp set added my own images  to give it a new look. The bird cage is another Cut file being release this month called Caged Cut file . It comes with 2 files that fit perfectly with the Stamp set. Using the masking technique I added the swing for my little yellow bird to sit on. The yellow paper is called School plaid collection 2.  I know this is one of my favorite templates and sure you will love it just as much as I do... Well that is my sneak peek I hope I have inspired you :).. Need more inspiration check out the MTME Gallery. Be sure to stop by and see what the other DT members have made for you today :).
